Originating in woodlands in the Balkans, this versatile salvia is happy in ful sun and full shade. Herbaceous below -5 but evergreen elsewhere. The indigo blue flowers have a white throat and are produced on large spikes to 70cm tall in spring and summer. A fabulous and versatile salvia, especially in a shade.
