https://perennialle.com.au/web/image/product.template/81889/image_1920?unique=598319d

A soft, sweet, butterhead lettuce that provides a densely bunch abundance of green and bronze hued leaves. Although a heading type of lettuce, we find it best to pick leaf by leaf, which will prevent the plants from bolting to seed.

When to Plant

Zone 1: September - May

Zone 2: Any time

Zone 3: Any time

Zone 4: February - November

Soil  Prepare with compost and well-rotted manure and allow the soil to settle for 1 -2 weeks before planting. Fresh manure has a tendency to burn younger lettuce seedlings, so incorporating a green manure in your soil as part of the preparation is also ideal.

Position  Full sun, but will tolerate some shade

How to Plant  You can sow the seeds directly into the veggie patch or in punnets, to transplant once germinated. Sow on the surface of the bed,  Just make sure that the birds don't peck at the seeds.

Note: We source all of our seeds locally and in small batches to ensure they remain at their maximum viability for germination
