Stalberg Carpenter Axe

With its straight handle and long, narrowand straight edge, the Stalberg Carpenter Axe provides you with the precision anyskilled craftsman demands. The fingernotch in the axe head allows a gripwhere your hand is placed, almost straightabove the center of the cutting edge, forincreased precision. Like all our axes,the Stalberg is hand forged and made from Swedish quality steel. As part ofthe head-forging process, the steel axehead is struck 40“60 times, therebyincreasing its density and resulting ingreat durability. This axe is named after one of Hults Bruks most experienced blacksmiths from the first half of the 20th century, Ernst Stalberg.
