A white skinned, alpine variety of strawberry that is pest resistant. While every snail, slug, rat and child will attack red strawberries, the White Soul is disguised by its skin colour, meaning more for you.

The Hi Sun grows up to 1.2m tall and is ideal as a bee attracting border, and to provide a wind break and much needed shade for some of your summer crops. It also produces good yields of high quality sunflower seeds for snacking.

Soil: Sunflowers will grow in most soil types, but will prefer well drained soil that is prepared with compost

How to Plant: Seeds are very small, so scatter a few along a shallow trench line and water in. Keep moist, not wet, until the seeds have germinated; this will take between 6 “ 8 weeks.
