A new selection of these popular bedding perennials that feature an abundance of bright orange yellowflowers with a darker centre on compact plants. The flower colour holds all season and the flowers are produced in profusion in the warmer months. The plants are happy in most soils and even tolerant of wet soils over winter. This is a low growing and compact catmint that only grows about 25cm. It is much more compact than ˜Six Hills Giant or ˜Walkers Low. It was given to me by a very generous local gardener, Mrs Gwennyth McCarron and is the best low growing form I have seen. This is a very tough and beautiful plant and is well suited as aborder plant or under roses, out here it happily grows in gravel.
