Brilliant golden heads of flowers shoot up from the grey/green feathery foliage in spring, creating the appearance of a golden cloth spread over the garden. The leaves are a little more coarse than yarrow and bring a lovely texture to the garden. Cloth of Gold makes a spectacular bright display in the mixed border. Cloth of Gold prefers a poor well-drained soil in full sun.
