At Rosnay, they carefully pick their figs and use the best, ripest, intact figs to make these glace figs. They are gently poached in a spiced syrup containing certified organic raw sugar, organic wine, organic apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, clove and lemon. After soaking in the syrup for several weeks, the poached figs are drained off and gently dried in a dehydrator to a perfect, prune-like dryness, and packed in eco friendly pouches.
These are such a treat with tea and coffee, desserts, cakes and cheese platters.
