Panicum virgatum 'Heavy Metal' is a fabulous upright blue grass with open seed heads. This one rocks so hard it goes to 11 (and should be wearing tight black leather pants). Being a tall upright growing grass it can be used to add vertical effect bringing contrast to the garden. The seed heads add another subtle feature creating a misty effect above the foliage.
